Hardaway says Lil' Penny is making a comeback

Lil' Penny is coming out of retirement.
Former NBA point guard and current Memphis basketball head coach Penny Hardaway teased the return of his Chris Rock-voiced miniature sidekick during an appearance on ESPN's "Get Up!" on Wednesday.
"Lil' Penny is actually going to be coming back out soon," Hardaway said. "He's working out, trying to get in shape, come back and support the Tigers."
Hardaway starred alongside Lil' Penny in a series of Nike commercials during his time with the Orlando Magic in the 1990s. The Magic also brought out a Lil' Penny doll as a good luck charm during the 2018 NBA Draft lottery.
