USC suspended freshman Kevin Porter Jr. indefinitely for undisclosed "conduct issues," head coach Andy Enfield announced Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Times' Brady McCollough.

The 18-year-old has battled a thigh injury this season but has turned heads while on the floor. After being suspended prior to Sunday's battle against Oregon, however, the remainder of his campaign is suddenly in doubt.

"We'll re-evaluate his future with the program this week," Enfield said after USC's 81-60 loss to the Ducks.

"It's very disappointing. We need all our players to be healthy and available. The last thing you want to do as a head coach is suspend any of your players, but when there's conduct issues, we have no choice."

The Trojans (9-8) are already shorthanded on the perimeter after suspending sophomore guard Jordan Usher for conduct issues of his own on Dec. 31. Following the suspension, Usher announced his plans to transfer to Georgia Tech next year.

Porter suffered a thigh bruise on Nov. 20 against Missouri State that forced him to miss nine of 10 games before returning for Thursday's overtime loss to Oregon State.

He was ranked 40th in ESPN's top 100 recruits for 2018 but catapulted himself into a potential top-10 pick for the 2019 NBA Draft prior to his suspension.

Porter is averaging 10.7 points and 3.4 rebounds in 22.3 minutes through seven games.
