Miami's Bruce Brown Jr. declares for NBA draft

Miami guard Bruce Brown Jr. declared for the NBA draft Thursday, the school announced.
However, the 21-year-old will not hire an agent, thus maintaining his college eligibility for the time being.
Brown is coming off a season in which he finished tied for second in team scoring with 11.4 points per night, shooting better than 41 percent from the floor.
The sophomore guard hasn't suited up for game action since Jan. 30 after suffering a broken foot and missed out on the Hurricanes' upset Round of 64 loss to Loyola Chicago last week.
Despite the injury and missed time, ESPN still projects Brown as a late first-round pick.
