LaVar says he wouldn't help get Trump out of jail if given the chance

LaVar Ball apparently wouldn't reciprocate President Donald Trump's goodwill.

Even though the POTUS claims he helped LaVar's son LiAngelo get out of Chinese jail, the Ball patriarch said he wouldn't do the same in return if the opportunity arose.

"I'm not gonna help get Trump out of jail on the fact that I'm not dealing with him," LaVar told Justin Termine on SiriusXM NBA Radio.

LaVar's comment should come as little surprise given the pair's heavily publicized feud, which began after Trump claimed he reached out to Chinese president Xi Jinping and urged him to release LiAngelo and two of his UCLA teammates after they were arrested and detained in China for shoplifting. The trio made their safe return to the U.S. about a week later and thanked the president.

LaVar refused to do the same, however, which ignited the wrath of Trump. The father of three instead sent some Big Baller Brand shoes to the White House, and later said the president hadn't thanked him for the expensive kicks.

While he wouldn't liberate Trump from prison, LaVar did indicate he would help Termine get out of jail because they were having such a nice conversation.
