Report: 4-star 2018 recruit De Sousa commits to Kansas

Four-star recruit Silvio De Sousa has committed to Kansas as part of the 2018 recruit class, according KU Sports' Matt Tait.
Ranked as the 10th best power forward prospect and 28th overall on the 2018 ESPN 100 board, De Sousa measures 6-foot-8 and 240 pounds. He represents the first 2018 commit for coach Bill Self's program.
A native of Angola, De Sousa goes to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., where he plays alongside fellow 2018 power forward prospect, five-star recruit Emmitt Williams, who has also received an offer from Kansas, among other top collegiate programs.
IMG Academy has produced several recent NBA draftees, including 2017 selections Jonathan Isaac of the Orlando Magic and Dwayne Bacon of the Charlotte Hornets.
