Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry isn't expected to miss much time after an MRI on his right ankle Friday revealed no significant damage, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Curry injured the ankle while driving to the rim late in the fourth quarter of the Warriors' 125-122 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.

In a statement Saturday, the Warriors confirmed a clean return on Curry's MRI and ruled out the star for their contest later in the day against the San Antonio Spurs. The Warriors added that Curry will be re-evaluated Tuesday.

Curry is averaging 26.9 points and 4.9 assists in 59 games for Golden State this season.

After taking on the Spurs in a home-and-away doubleheader Saturday and Monday, Golden State will then travel to Dallas to play the Mavericks on Wednesday.

The Warriors sit ninth in the Western Conference with a 33-29 record.
