Jokic becomes 6th player with 100 career triple-doubles
Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic became the sixth player in NBA history to reach 100 career triple-doubles during Tuesday's 133-112 win over the Houston Rockets.
Jokic accomplished the feat in his 582nd career appearance. Only Oscar Robertson cracked the century club in fewer contests, according to Sportsnet Stats.

Jokic registered 14 points, 11 boards, and 10 assists in 28 minutes for his league-leading 24th triple-double of 2022-23. The Nuggets have yet to lose a game this season when the two-time reigning MVP records one.

Jokic's performance also guaranteed that he finished February averaging a triple-double. The Serbian joins Westbrook and Robertson as the only players in NBA history to do so in at least three straight months, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
Earlier this season, Jokic surpassed Wilt Chamberlain for the most triple-doubles by a center.
"For (Jokic) to be mentioned with all these historical accomplishments, just reminds you that we are so blessed to have a guy like Nikola. ... He is a unique person who doesn't want any of the attention or credit," Nuggets head coach Michael Malone said postgame. "He just wants to go about his business and help this team win its first championship."
The Nuggets sit atop the West with a 44-19 record.
