Anthony Davis had another big night in LeBron James' absence, pouring in 30 points and 18 boards in the Los Angeles Lakers' 123-92 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.

Davis has taken it upon himself to replace James' production, but the big man doesn't see it as payback for his own injury woes last season.

"We haven't talked about it, but (James) did say that I'm playing like my old self, so I'm trying to get back into that rhythm," Davis told ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

Davis has now registered at least 30 points and 15 rebounds in three straight contests, joining Elgin Baylor and Shaquille O'Neal as the only Lakers players to accomplish the feat, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

The eight-time All-Star has had a bounce-back campaign, averaging 25.6 points, 12 boards, 1.9 blocks, and 1.4 steals over 14 appearances. He ranks eighth in the Association in both deflections (3.4 per game) and contested shots (11).

Los Angeles is riding a three-game win streak heading into a three-game road trip, beginning Tuesday in primetime against the Phoenix Suns.
