Brooklyn Nets sharpshooter Seth Curry underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle, the team announced Monday.

Curry, 31, is expected to recover in time for the start of training camp this fall.

After starting the season with the Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn acquired the 6-foot-2 combo guard in February in a blockbuster trade package featuring All-Star point forward Ben Simmons, center Andre Drummond, and draft picks for former league MVP James Harden and forward Paul Millsap. Including the postseason, Curry started all 23 of his appearances after joining the Nets.

In Year 9, Curry averaged career bests of 15 points and 3.6 assists per game with 55.3% shooting on twos and 42.2% on threes. He's set to make $8.5 million in 2022-23 before hitting unrestricted free agency next summer.
