Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins said star guard Ja Morant is unlikely to play in Monday's Game 4 against the Golden State Warriors after injuring his knee in Game 3.

"There's probably a really good chance he won't play," Jenkins said Sunday, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Morant appeared to injure his right knee in a play involving Warriors guard Jordan Poole during Golden State's 142-112 win Saturday. As the Grizzlies star attempted to thwart a double-team, Poole's knee bumped into his, and the Warriors guard then grabbed Morant's knee.

The NBA will not punish Poole after reviewing the incident at Memphis' request, reports TNT's Jared Greenberg.

Morant left the contest for good with 6:19 remaining. He looked visibly frustrated on the bench and was seen limping to the locker room before the final buzzer. In a since-deleted tweet after the game, Morant suggested Poole "broke the code," a reference to Golden State head coach Steve Kerr's comments after Dillon Brooks' hard foul in Game 2 broke Gary Payton II's elbow.

Jenkins added that the entire team believes the incident in question is the source of the Grizzlies guard's knee injury, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.

Several members of the Warriors denied Poole was trying to hurt Morant, including Poole himself, who called it a "basketball play."

Golden State leads the series 2-1.
