Portland Trail Blazers president of basketball operations and general manager Neil Olshey is under investigation for alleged workplace misconduct, according to a report from The Athletic's Shams Charania and Jason Quick.

The Blazers and owner Jody Allen launched the investigation after at least one team employee reported potential misconduct, sources told Sharania and Quick. The team will apparently hire an outside firm to look into the matter.

The team responded to the report Saturday afternoon, stating it has hired an independent firm to conduct a full review of the matter and declining further comment.

Olshey joined the Blazers as general manager in June 2012 after serving the same role with the Los Angeles Clippers.
