The Portland Trail Blazers are bringing veteran forward Patrick Patterson into the fold on a training camp deal, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 32-year-old spent the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging five points and 2.3 rebounds while shooting 37.7% on threes in 14 minutes per game.

The Blazers have become something of a refuge for veterans looking for a shot at continuing their playing careers.

Last month, Michael Beasley, 32, and Kenneth Faried, 31, suited up for the Blazers' Summer League team and registered as the oldest players on the entire circuit. However, neither player has been offered a regular-season contract from Portland.
