Los Angeles Clippers stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will miss Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks due to health and safety protocols, the team announced Monday, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk.

The designation is used for players who are in quarantine and undergoing contact tracing. It doesn't necessarily mean an individual has tested positive for COVID-19.

Leonard and George are not traveling to Atlanta with the team, though the duo could rejoin the Clippers at some point during their upcoming six-game road trip, adds Youngmisuk.

Meanwhile, starting guard Patrick Beverley is also sidelined for Tuesday's contest after injuring his right knee in Sunday's victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Clippers enter Monday's slate of games with a league-leading 13-4 record.
