After missing Game 2 with a neck strain, Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo says he'll be ready to play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.

"Yes, I believe I’ll be in the lineup. I’m feeling better. I believe I’ll play." Adebayo told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Adebayo played just 21 minutes in Game 1 before exiting with his injury. The dynamic All-Star big man has been one of Miami's most crucial pieces inside the NBA bubble, averaging 17.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 4.6 assists.

The 23-year-old doesn't appear fazed by his team's current predicament being down 0-2.

"We’ve got to be a desperate team and come out with a lot of energy from the jump," Adebayo said to Haynes. "I’m confident we can turn things around."

Only six percent of teams (27 of 425) have come back to win a best-of-seven series after going down 0-2, according to Land of Basketball.
