LeBron James is continuing to make his mark in Hollywood away from the basketball court.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar is set to produce a basketball-themed movie for Netflix that stars comedy icon Adam Sandler, according to Etan Vlessing of The Hollywood Reporter.

James and Maverick Carter's Springhill Entertainment are reportedly teaming up with Sandler's Happy Madison Productions and Roth/Kirschenbaum Films to develop the movie, which is titled "Hustle." The plot centers around a recently fired basketball scout (played by Sandler) who's looking to get back into the business after discovering a top-level international star.

The 35-year-old James has been involved in a number of entertainment projects in recent years. In addition to founding Springhill Entertainment with Carter, he owns the Uninterrupted media company. James also appeared on the big screen in the 2015 movie "Trainwreck" and is playing a lead role in the highly anticipated sequel to "Space Jam" - "Space Jam: A New Legacy" - which is set to be released next summer.
