Heat's Adebayo to take on Kobayashi in cheeseburger-eating contest

Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo is putting his competitive eating skills to the test against one of the best.
Adebayo will be among the celebrities going up against six-time Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest champion and multiple Guinness World Record holder Takeru Kobayashi in a cheeseburger-eating contest Wednesday near Miami, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Kobayashi will need to consume 18 cheeseburgers in five minutes, while Adebayo and the remaining competitors will each have six in front of them. For each cheeseburger eaten, fast-food chain BurgerFi will donate $100 - up to $5,000 - to Feeding South Florida.
The Heat exercised Adebayo's fourth-year option last week, locking him in for the 2020-21 season.
