NBA veteran guard Allen Crabbe was arrested on a DUI charge early Wednesday, Los Angeles Police Department records confirm, reports Brad Rowland of SB Nation.

Officers noticed Crabbe's vehicle was "straddling lanes" and decided to pull him over, according to TMZ Sports. The 27-year-old reportedly had a blood alcohol level of 0.08 - the precise legal limit in California - and was promptly arrested and booked by police.

Crabbe remains in police custody with his bail set at $5,000.

The Atlanta Hawks reportedly acquired the 6-foot-6 wing in an early June deal with the Brooklyn Nets. Crabbe averaged 9.6 points per contest across 43 appearances for the Nets last season. He's entering the final year of a four-year, $74.8-million contract originally signed with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2016 offseason.
