The Minnesota Timberwolves are aggressively seeking to improve their draft position and move up from their current spot at No. 11, league sources told The New York Times' Marc Stein.

Minnesota is reportedly among the teams looking to acquire the No. 4 pick. That selection is still technically owned by the Los Angeles Lakers but was reportedly traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in the still-unofficial blockbuster deal for big man Anthony Davis.

The Pelicans, expected to draft Duke star Zion Williamson No. 1 overall, are reportedly open to trading the No. 4 pick once the Davis deal is official, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
