It doesn't appear Jim Boylen's actions will cost him after the Chicago Bulls head coach was ejected from Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The NBA fined Boylen, but Bulls guard Zach LaVine contacted the team's front office offering to pay, league sources told ESPN's Malika Andrews, and management has given him clearance.

"What Jim did, I personally respect that a lot," LaVine told reporters postgame, according to Andrews. "He really cares about us and he's going to fight for us. That shows his true character the way he feels about us."

The league charged Boylen $5,000 for the two technical fouls he was assessed and an additional $2,000 for the ejection.

The 53-year-old was tossed during the third quarter after getting into an argument with Clippers head coach Doc Rivers.
