Barkley plans to retire at 60: 'I'm not going to work f---ing forever'

After nearly two decades as a studio analyst on TNT's "Inside the NBA," Charles Barkley admits he's starting to think more and more about retirement.
The 56-year-old NBA Hall of Famer spoke candidly about his future at a March Madness event in New York on Tuesday, telling reporters he plans to retire at 60.
"I think about (retirement) every year. I'm not going to work f---ing forever, I can promise you that," Barkley said. "To be honest with you, right now, my goal is to try to make it to 60. I turned 56 a couple of weeks ago. I think 60 is a nice round number."

Barkley and the rest of the "Inside the NBA" crew - Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O'Neal - signed multi-year contract extensions with TNT in 2015 that would keep them together through the 2024-25 NBA season.
