The Golden State Warriors have signed free-agent center Andrew Bogut, the team announced Wednesday.

Bogut received a letter of clearance from Australia and the NBA to return to the Warriors, his agent told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Bogut will sign a one-year minimum deal after spending the past season with the Sydney Kings of Australia's National Basketball League, according to Charania.

The 7-footer was a member of the Warriors' 2015 championship run, as well as the record-setting 73-win team that fell one win shy of consecutive titles the following season.

Bogut, 34, captured MVP and Defensive Player of the Year honors during his lone campaign in Australia's league, averaging 11.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per contest.
