The Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets will reportedly play preseason games in China prior to the start of the 2019-20 campaign, sources told ESPN's Michael Yuan.

The two sides will compete Oct. 10 in Shanghai and Oct. 12 in Shenzhen.

This will mark Lakers superstar LeBron James' third career trip to China, having already played in 2007 with the Cleveland Cavaliers and 2013 with the Miami Heat.

The Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers took part in the China Games last year.

Seventeen NBA teams have taken the floor in China across 26 games since 2004.
