Booker chirps Kanter after Suns run roughshod over Knicks

Improbably, the Phoenix Suns are now riding a three-game winning streak after busting down the doors of Madison Square Garden and stealing a win over the New York Knicks, 128-110.

As if getting embarrassed by a 6-24 team on their home floor wasn't enough, Suns star Devin Booker added to the Knicks' misery by taking a shot at Enes Kanter. Booker dug way back to respond to a dig that the Turkish big man took last January:

In Kanter's defense, he finished just minus-4 in 28 minutes, hardly the worst plus-minus posted a Knicks player. None of New York's defenders seemed to have an answer for the suddenly surging Suns, who were led by 38 points from Booker, 26 from small forward T.J. Warren, and an additional 21 from center Deandre Ayton.

There's virtually no chance that the gregarious and brash Kanter stays silent after Booker's barb, though he'll have to wait until March 6 to prove his pick-and-roll defense is capable of containing the Suns' shooting guard.
