The Philadelphia 76ers are in no rush to trade Markelle Fultz, as ownership isn't in total agreement about what to do with the second-year guard, league sources told Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Some in ownership reportedly believe the organization's reputation would take a hit for giving up on Fultz so soon, as it traded up two spots in the 2017 draft -dealing a future first-round pick - to select the guard.

The front office is unwilling to trade Fultz at his current value as it is looking for a first-round pick in return - preferably not a late one, as Pompey notes.

The Detroit Pistons reportedly expressed interest in the 20-year-old last week. They were among three teams that inquired about Fultz, Pompey adds.

Fultz hasn't played since Nov. 19 and was recently diagnosed with neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome, though the team is optimistic he could return in three-to-six weeks.

The 20-year-old is averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per contest this year.
