Internet turns McCollum's 'I'm trying, Jennifer' response into amusing meme
C.J. McCollum created an opening for the internet to have fun at his expense, and a hilarious meme to tide basketball fans over during the dog days of the offseason came as a result.
The Portland Trail Blazers guard was not pleased when a video of him chastising the Golden State Warriors began circulating on social media weeks after the fact.

His response to Twitter user Jennifer Williams, who trolled McCollum for Portland getting swept out of the playoffs the last two seasons, including in 2017 to Golden State, is what set off the meme.
