Oscar Robertson auctioning off championship ring, other memorabilia

Basketball Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson is auctioning off his 1971 Milwaukee Bucks championship ring along with other memorabilia from his pro and college career, via auction site Lelands.com.

Robertson played 14 years in the NBA with the Bucks and Cincinnati Royals after being drafted out of the University of Cincinnati in 1960. In 1961-62, he became the first NBA player to average a triple-double over the course of the regular season.

As of Monday morning, the highest bid on his championship ring was $24,200. The auction runs through Aug. 17.
