LeBron after another blowout loss: Cavaliers 'are so fragile'
BOSTON, MA - JANUARY 3: LeBron James #23 of the Cleveland Cavaliers looks on during the first quarter against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden on January 3, 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Following a brutal showing Thursday night that resulted in a 34-point blowout loss at the hands of the Toronto Raptors north of the border, all LeBron James wants is for the Cleveland Cavaliers to snap out of it.

"We in a funk. Once again we’re back to the beginning of the season," said James, referring to the team opening the year with a 5-7 record, according to Ohio.com. "Just gotta find a way to get out of it. It’s going to start with us and just everybody getting back to what we were doing when we were playing good ball, but, we’re so fragile. I don’t know where it kind of went wrong or what happened to switch back, but we’ve got try to pick it back up and find it."

The reigning Eastern Conference champions three years running have dropped six of their last eight games and have given up a grand total of 387 points over their last three outings. The 133 points from Toronto are the most allowed by a LeBron-led team in regulation since he entered the Association back in 2003.

James had never lost consecutive games by 25 or more prior to Thursday's debacle, either.

Cleveland hadn't played since Monday when the Minnesota Timberwolves ripped them to shreds by 28 points, so it's not as if they were physically depleted prior to the matchup with the red-hot Raptors. Their defense - currently ranked 29th overall by allowing 109.5 points per 100 possessions - is what's plaguing them the most, and Toronto carved it up with precision passing (31 assists to just nine turnovers) and efficient shooting (50 percent from the field, along with 18 3-pointers).

With Cleveland's next two games coming against a top 10 offense in the Indiana Pacers Friday, and then a Finals rematch with the Golden State Warriors next Monday, the "fragile" Cavaliers certainly won't find it easy turning their fortunes around so quickly.
