The Philadelphia 76ers announced Sunday that Markelle Fultz is still recovering from his shoulder issue and will be re-evaluated again in another two-to-three weeks.

Fultz hasn't played since Oct. 23 due to soreness and scapular muscle imbalance in his right shoulder, both of which the team said have shown improvement.

He's had issues with his shoulder since preseason, and members within the organization have offered contrasting accounts of whether altering his shooting form caused the injury or came as a result of it. Regardless, the pain was so severe that the No. 1 pick couldn't raise his arms to shoot and needed cortisone shots to relieve pressure.

The 19-year-old shooting guard averaged six points on 33.3 percent shooting from the field to go along with 2.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 19 minutes over four games, and didn't attempt a single 3-pointer.
