Darren Till didn't take kindly to Marvin Vettori questioning the legitimacy of his recent injury.

Till was scheduled to face Vettori in the main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday, but the middleweight contender withdrew last week due to a broken collarbone.

Vettori said Wednesday he was "getting more suspicious" of Till's injury, and the 28-year-old responded in an Instagram post later that day.

"What's up with you, mate? You missing a few cells or something?" Till wrote. "If only you f------ knew what I went through this camp to get to fight you. ... You were going to be my easiest fight. You are a walking punch bag who's tough - nothing more and nothing less. So keep your bitter mouth shut.

"For you or anyone to even think for one minute I'd pull out of a fight with some bullshit excuse makes me howl. ... What (do) you want me to do? I've broken my f------ collarbone, you utter moron. ... Stop being a hater, you bum."

Vettori told reporters he expected Till to post an X-ray of his injury. Till promised to tag Vettori in an image of it "so you can sleep easy tonight."

"To be honest, I'm getting more suspicious by the day with this thing," Vettori said, according to ESPN's Brett Okamoto. "I was expecting him to put out the X-ray of his collarbone and stuff. I don't know. I'm getting a little suspicious."

Vettori is now scheduled to face Kevin Holland in this weekend's main event. The 27-year-old is coming off a victory over Jack Hermansson in December and has won four straight.

Till hasn't given a time frame for his return. The former welterweight title challenger is 1-1 since moving up to 185 pounds in 2019.
