Report: Rothwell-Arlovski booked for UFC San Antonio in July
Heavyweights Ben Rothwell and Andrei Arlovski will meet at UFC San Antonio on July 20 in a rematch of the fight they had 11 years ago, sources told ESPN's Ariel Helwani.
Arlovski knocked out Rothwell on July 19, 2008, in the inaugural event for the former "Affliction" promotion.
Both combatants will be looking to snap losing streaks when they collide in Texas.
Rothwell (36-11) lost to Blagoy Ivanov in March in his return from a two-year suspension for a failed drug test. He lost to Junior dos Santos before the suspension and thus owns a two-match losing skid.
Arlovski (27-18, 2 NC) is 0-3 with one no-contest over his last four outings and hasn't tasted victory since triumphing over Stefan Struve in March 2018. The 40-year-old is a former UFC heavyweight champion but last held the crown in 2005.
A headliner for the San Antonio card has yet to be announced.
