Sterling 'OK' after suffering brutal KO loss vs. Moraes

After catching the wrong end of a Knockout of the Year candidate, Aljamain Sterling has shown signs of life.

The bantamweight took to Twitter to reveal he was "OK" hours following his brutal first-round loss to Marlon Moraes at Saturday's UFC Fight Night 123:

Sterling was put to sleep by a perfectly-timed knee as he was shooting for a takedown, and needed several minutes to regain his faculties and exit the Octagon. The Long Island native was taken to hospital on a stretcher as a precautionary measure, with UFC president Dana White later stating he was alert and responsive.

The Serra-Longo man's first career defeat by stoppage snapped a two-fight win streak.
