The ongoing saga surrounding Jon Jones and positive tests for performance enhancing drugs has caused a significant ripple effect through the sport, and one former UFC champion doesn't like how that feels.

During his appearance Monday on "The MMA Hour," former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vented his frustrations with Jones and the tainted perception that his steroid violations have cast upon every other fighter.

"Jon Jones kind of put that light on every MMA fighter, that we all do that s---. It’s bad for the sport because it makes everybody else look bad because people think we're like barbaric steroid freaks," Rampage said. "I don’t know all the s--- that’s going on with Jon Jones. I don't know if he really passed or failed the drug test. I don't know because I don't watch the news, but it’s bad."

Jackson doubled down on his comments against fighters using steroids, condemning users as something less than a true fighter.

"Any fighter that has to take steroids, and our body produces testosterone naturally, but if you have to take steroids to be a fighter, to get in and fight another man, then you are really not a fighter, that’s how I feel," Jackson said. "I have never failed a steroid piss test."
