Diego Sanchez is headed back up to welterweight in search of a much-needed win.

The UFC's first "TUF" middleweight winner will face Matt Brown at 170 pounds on Nov. 11 at UFC Fight Night 120 in Norfolk, Virginia, the promotion announced on Wednesday's edition of "UFC Tonight."

Sanchez has competed at 185, 170, 155, and 145 pounds over his dozen years in the UFC, and dropped a unanimous decision to Jake Ellenberger in his last welterweight bout back in February 2012. The 35-year-old has alternated wins and losses over his past six fights and fallen short in six of his last 10. He was last seen suffering a first-round KO at Al Iaquinta's hands in April.

Brown's been finished in each of his last three trips to the Octagon and lost five of his past six. The fan favorite hasn't had his hand raised since he tapped Tim Means in under a round at UFC 189 in July of 2015.

Also gracing the November card is a strawweight tilt between Angela Hill and Nina Ansaroff. "Overkill" most recently rebounded from a February loss to Jessica Andrade with a decision over Ashley Yoder at "The Ultimate Fighter 25" finale in July, while Ansaroff last submitted Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger for her first UFC win in January.

The bill is expected to be headlined by a lightweight clash between former champion Anthony Pettis and Dustin Poirier.
