Markos draws Grasso at UFC Mexico City
Randa Markos will look to build the first win streak of her UFC career when she meets Alexa Grasso in a strawweight bout on Aug. 5 at UFC Fight Night 114 in Mexico City, the promotion announced Wednesday.
"Quiet Storm" has alternated wins and losses over six fights in the Octagon, but earned herself the No. 9 spot in the divisional rankings with a split decision win over inaugural strawweight champ Carla Esparza at UFC Fight Night 105 in February.
Grasso returns to her home country and the site of her promotional debut - a unanimous decision over Heather Jo Clark scored at UFC Fight Night 98. The 23-year-old will look to rebound from a loss to Felice Herrig suffered in February, her first in 10 professional fights.
UFC Fight Night 114 will be headlined by a flyweight bout between Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno.
