Zlatan Ibrahimovic tweeted a video Monday declaring his stint with the LA Galaxy isn't over.

The maverick forward, 37, was linked with a return to AC Milan and other European heavyweights but stated last month it was his "priority" to remain with the MLS franchise.

Ibrahimovic will reportedly sign a Designated Player contract with the Galaxy.

Ibrahimovic joined the Californian club in March, ending a spell at Manchester United that was punctuated by injuries. He hit the ground running in his MLS debut, scoring twice off the bench - including the Goal of the Year winner from 40 yards out - to inspire a 4-3 comeback victory over local rivals Los Angeles FC. He scored a total of 22 goals in 28 appearances over the 2018 campaign.

His anticipated pay increase as a Designated Player may mean one of the Galaxy's three players currently on similar deals - brothers Giovani and Jonathan dos Santos, and Romain Alessandrini - will have to move on.
