The hits keep coming for the battered New York Yankees.

Manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that outfielder Harrison Bader will miss six weeks due to the oblique injury he suffered earlier this week, according to MLB.com's Bryan Hoch.

Bader joins Carlos Rodon, Lou Trivino, and Tommy Kahnle on the list of Yankees players expected to miss the beginning of the regular season due to injury.

With Bader sidelined, Boone said reigning AL MVP Aaron Judge is an option to patrol center field. Judge appeared in 78 games in that spot last season.

The Yankees acquired Bader in a trade that sent left-hander Jordan Montgomery to the St. Louis Cardinals last August.

Bader elevated his game in the postseason, hitting .333 with five home runs and a 1.262 OPS over nine games.

New York currently projects to begin the campaign with a starting outfield of Judge, Aaron Hicks, and Oswaldo Cabrera.
