Report: Yankees reunite with Kahnle on 2-year, $11.5M deal

The New York Yankees and reliever Tommy Kahnle agreed to a two-year, $11.5-million contract, sources told Jeff Passan of ESPN.
The Boston Red Sox made a push to sign Kahnle but were outbid by the Yankees, reports Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
Kahnle pitched for parts of four seasons with the Yankees from 2017-20. The 33-year-old posted a 2.84 ERA in just 12 2/3 innings for the Los Angeles Dodgers last season after coming back from Tommy John surgery.
The right-hander owns a career 3.51 FIP with an 11.1 K/9 over eight years in the majors with the Colorado Rockies, Chicago White Sox, Yankees, and Dodgers.
