The Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays are interested in signing designated hitter Andrew McCutchen, according to Buster Olney of ESPN.

The 2013 NL MVP can also still man the outfield. He started 49 games for the Milwaukee Brewers last season.

McCutchen is 52 hits away from 2,000 for his career. He's also 13 homers away from reaching 300.

The 36-year-old went deep 17 times with 69 RBIs and a .700 OPS over 134 contests in 2022. The five-time All-Star has also played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees, and Philadelphia Phillies over his 14-year career.
