Blue Jays acquire Jacob Barnes from Mets

The Toronto Blue Jays acquired right-hander Jacob Barnes from the New York Mets for minor-league righty Troy Miller on Saturday, the team announced.
Barnes was designated for assignment on June 14 after posting a 6.27 ERA in 19 outings for the Mets this season.
The 31-year-old should provide the Blue Jays bullpen with a fresh arm as Toronto has several relief pitchers on the injured list.
