Move over, Kyler Murray, because there's a new two-sport superstar.

Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Madison Bumgarner is also an ace in the sport of rodeo. He competes under the name Mason Saunders, according to Andrew Baggarly and Zach Buchanan of The Athletic.

Bumgarner competed at the Rancho Rio Arena in Wickenburg, Arizona, on Dec. 3 as part of a team roping event. He and his partner, Jaxson Tucker, earned $26,560 as the winners, and pictures of the pair were posted to Rancho Rio's Facebook page.

"Oh boy. This is ruining my alias," Bumgarner admitted when confronted with the discovery, according to Baggarly and Buchanan.

Bumgarner signed a five-year, $85-million contract with the Diamondbacks barely two weeks after he won at Rancho Rio.

It was reported shortly after Bumgarner signed that he chose the Diamondbacks' offer in part because he wanted to be near his horses in Arizona.

Bumgarner also admitted to participating in a rodeo event during last year's spring training, two days before he pitched for the San Francisco Giants in the Cactus League.

The 30-year-old's true identity is no secret in the rodeo world, according to Baggarly and Buchanan. He used his real name in a 2014 interview with the Wrangler Network, during which the southpaw confirmed he's a righty with the ropes.

In 11 seasons with the Giants, Bumgarner was a four-time All-Star and helped them win three World Series championships while taking home both National League Championship Series and World Series MVP honors in 2014.

This isn't the first time Bumgarner's enjoyed himself away from the diamond, either. He missed significant time during the 2017 season after injuring his shoulder in a dirt-biking accident.
