The Baltimore Orioles and left-hander Wade LeBlanc have agreed to a minor-league contract worth $800,000, sources told Jeff Passan of ESPN.

The 35-year-old will compete for a spot in the team's rotation this spring.

LeBlanc posted a 5.71 ERA and 5.49 FIP over 121 1/3 innings last year, making eight starts and 18 additional appearances out of the bullpen. As a starter, he struggled to an 8.35 ERA.

The 11-year veteran owns a career 4.46 ERA after playing for the San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, and five other teams.

The Orioles' rotation currently consists of John Means and Alex Cobb at the top, with Asher Wojciechowski, Kohl Stewart, Brandon Bailey, David Hess, and LeBlanc vying for the final three spots.
