The Philadelphia Phillies placed outfielder Corey Dickerson on the 60-day injured list Tuesday with a fractured left foot, ending his season, the team announced.

Right-hander Edubray Ramos was reinstated from the IL in a corresponding move.

Dickerson hasn't played since last Thursday. An MRI initially revealed a bone bruise in his foot, according to Scott Lauber of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

It's the outfielder's second trip to the injured list since he joined the Phillies in a July 31 trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

When healthy, he has helped fill the void left by Andrew McCutchen's own season-ending injury. Dickerson hit .293/.307/.579 with eight home runs and 34 RBIs in 34 games with the Phillies.

The 30-year-old is slated to hit free agency after the season.
