Game 4 of ALCS between Yankees, Astros postponed
Game 4 of the American League Championship Series between the New York Yankees and Houston Astros has been postponed due to inclement weather, the Yankees announced.
The game will be played Thursday, beginning at 8:08 p.m. ET.
Astros manager AJ Hinch announced that Zack Greinke will start Game 4 and Justin Verlander will begin Game 5, according to Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet SW.
Yankees skipper Aaron Boone will counter with Masahiro Tanaka in Game 4 and will likely hand Game 5 to James Paxton, according to MLB.com's Bryan Hoch.
Game 5 will begin Friday at 7:08 p.m. ET.
With the postponement of Wednesday's game, both the Yankees and Astros could lose a potential travel day. Games 6 and 7 (if necessary) are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Houston, according to a league announcement.
