With the trade deadline less than a month away, the Houston Astros, Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers, and Minnesota Twins are among the teams interested in acquiring San Francisco Giants left-hander Madison Bumgarner, sources tell Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

Since the 2018 season ended, Bumgarner has been the subject of trade rumors. Of the teams reportedly interested, only the Twins aren't listed on Bumgarner's no-trade list. That eight-team list also includes the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, and Philadelphia Phillies.

Bumgarner, 29, has posted a 5-7 record with a 4.03 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 19 starts this season. At times, however, he's looked like an ace. In the two starts before a line drive struck him on the forearm during his last outing, the four-time All-Star allowed three earned runs over 13 innings while striking out 20. He's not expected to miss any time after the All-Star break.

Bumgarner's postseason resume is a big part of his appeal. He's 8-3 with a 2.11 ERA and 0.90 WHIP in 102 1/3 playoff innings. He's a three-time World Series champion and earned series MVP honors in 2014 after allowing only one run over 21 innings.

Bumgarner is in the final year of his contract and is scheduled to become a free agent for the first time after this season.
