Jackie Bradley Jr. had to make a perfect throw, so he did.
With the St. Louis Cardinals already leading 4-0, the Boston Red Sox center fielder stopped the bleeding in the top of the second inning.
Tommy Pham hit a single to center field and Bradley launched a pinpoint throw to home plate to nail Matt Carpenter for the second out.
Carpenter had been on third base. Third. And he couldn't score on a single to center field. What a throw.
