Cubs' Almora Jr. denies flipping off President Trump
When the Chicago Cubs visited the White House on Wednesday, many a photo op presented itself. And, of course, controversy arose.
Outfielder Albert Almora Jr. was photographed standing next to President Donald Trump's desk in the Oval Office with his hands in his pockets. It appears that he is stealthily giving the middle finger.
Naturally, it went viral.

Almora denies that this was the case, according to CSN Chicago's Patrick Mooney.
“Guys were giving me a hard time about it,” Almora said, “but I pointed out the second finger. We’re all good.”
Looking closer at the photo, his index finger can be seen, though it is somewhat obscured by shadows. Even though he was able to laugh it off, he reiterated that he'd never do something like that.
"Obviously, it’s unfortunate," Almora said. "I’m getting ready to take a picture and I’m posing there. But you guys know that I would never do that to the president of the United States.
"I respect everybody. It is what it is. We laugh about it now, but there’s definitely two fingers out there."
