La Liga Matchday 32 betting preview: Barcelona's Balaidos struggles continue

It really doesn't get much better than this.

As of Thursday, it's been 15 straight days with at least one La Liga match, and we've made the most of it, profiting nicely over the past two weeks.

The best part is there's no end in sight, with matches scheduled every day over the next week and beyond. Let's dive into this weekend's slate.

Barcelona (-170) at Celta Vigo (+430), Draw (+310)

It took a fortunate bounce for Barcelona to avoid dropping points yet again in midweek, but they haven't been all that impressive of late, as Real Madrid have pulled ahead in the title race on goal difference.

Barcelona have now scored just once over their last two matches, and while they haven't conceded since the restart, there's something that just doesn't appear to be right with the Blaugrana. With the title slipping from Barcelona's hands, it's not a good time to visit Baladios - a venue they haven't won at since 2015.

Celta are unbeaten in their last five home matches against Barcelona and have been playing some impressive football over the past couple weeks under manager Oscar, who coincidentally used to be a Barcelona player and is their former youth coach. Oscar's side are unbeaten in three and have won each of their last two matches, conceding just one goal since the restart. They'll give Barcelona all sorts of problems here and steal a precious point that pushes them closer to safety while putting a massive dent in the visitors' title hopes.

Pick: Draw (+310)

Valencia (+185) at Villarreal (+130), Draw (+260)

With things so congested near the top of the table, this match holds massive significance in the race for top four. It's safe to say the loser here will not be playing Champions League football next season.

The form of these two sides couldn't be much different at the moment, either. Villarreal are unbeaten in four matches since the restart, winning three, and so nearly making it a perfect record after a 2-2 draw with Sevilla on Monday. Valencia, meanwhile, have just one win - a match in which they were thoroughly outplayed by Osasuna - and have lost both their away matches, failing to score in either.

The real detrimental part for Valencia is that they have to play this match on two fewer days' rest, having lost to Eibar on Thursday, while Villarreal drew Sevilla on Monday. Getting an extra couple days off is massive for the hosts here, and given the gulf in form between the two sides, it's hard to see anything other than a Villarreal victory.

Pick: Villarreal (+130)

Real Sociedad (+200) at Getafe (+160), Draw (+200)

The pause in the season really hurt the momentum of both these sides. Getafe have drawn three in a row after losing their first match at Granada, while Sociedad have lost three in a row after drawing their first against Osasuna.

This is another massive match in the race for the top four, and like the one between Villarreal and Valencia, the loser here can kiss their Champions League hopes goodbye. Jose Bordalas' side should benefit from an extra day to prepare, having had nearly a full week off between matches. For Sociedad, fatigue will undoubtedly be an issue in what will be their fourth match in 12 days.

Getafe are better than their last few results have shown and we should see them come to life a bit here following a bit of rest. Sociedad have lost their last two trips to Getafe, as well as five of their last six matches against them overall, and the conditions are perfect here for Bordalas' side to pick up a vital three points.
