Veteran midfielder Amandine Henry to leave Lyon
France midfielder Amandine Henry said on Thursday she will leave Lyon at the end of the season after more than a decade with the club.
The 33-year-old won seven Champions League titles and the French league on 14 occasions since arriving in 2007.
"After 15 years with this incredible club, it's with great emotion that I announce today my departure from Lyon," Henry said on social media.
"It has been an honour to play for their colours," she added.
In April, Henry said she had asked to leave her Lyon contract early but was refused to do so by the French champions.
She has been linked with a move to Angel City in California.
Henry made the last of her 93 Les Bleues appearances in 2020 due to a dispute with then coach Corinne Diacre.
Diacre was replaced by Herve Renard for this year's World Cup, starting in July.
