Euro 2020 Team of the Tournament: Italy dominates, Ronaldo misses out
The Euro 2020 Team of the Tournament was unveiled Tuesday, with eight players from Sunday's final featured in the squad.
Champion Italy leads the way with five selections. Player of the Tournament Gianluigi Donnarumma is joined by teammates Leonardo Bonucci, Leonardo Spinazzola, Jorginho, and Federico Chiesa.
England's Raheem Sterling, Kyle Walker, and Harry Maguire were selected after an impressive campaign that culminated in the country's first final appearance since 1966.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo missed out on the team despite winning the Golden Boot award as the tournament's highest scorer with five goals. Instead, UEFA's team of technical observers selected Belgium forward Romelu Lukaku, who scored four times.
Young Player of the Tournament Pedri was also included after a dominating series of performances for Spain.
