The draw for the last 16 of this season's Europa League was conducted Friday, and while it didn't offer up any true heavyweight clashes, there are a handful of intriguing matchups to watch.

The two Premier League representatives, Chelsea and Arsenal, face intriguing tests against Dynamo Kyiv and Rennes, respectively. The English sides will be favored to advance to the quarterfinals.

La Liga supporters will be hopeful that all three remaining Spanish sides can reach the last eight of the competition; Valencia and Sevilla were handed favorable tests, while Villarreal will face the most daunting task of the trio when they meet Russian giants Zenit St. Petersburg.

Meanwhile, the impending battle between Eintracht Frankfurt and Inter could prove the most tantalizing of all, as it features two of Europe's most exciting young strikers in the form of 21-year-olds Luka Jovic and Lautaro Martinez.

  • Chelsea vs. Dynamo Kyiv
  • Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Inter
  • Dinamo Zagreb vs. Benfica
  • Napoli vs. Red Bull Salzburg
  • Valencia vs. Krasnodar
  • Sevilla vs. Slavia Prague
  • Arsenal vs. Rennes
  • Zenit St. Petersburg vs. Villarreal

The first legs of the respective ties will take place on March 7, with the decisive second legs slated for March 14.
